Description of key information

Acid Brown 432 is not an highly flammable substance

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

From the obtained experimental data according to the A.10 method in Council Regulation (EC) No 440/2008 of 30 May 2008, it can be concluded that theACID BROWN 432sample is a not highly flammable substance.

Justification for classification or non-classification

According to the definition set out in the CLP Regulation (EC 1272/2008) a flammable solid means a solid which is readily combustible, or may cause or contribute to fire through friction. Readily combustible solids are powdered, granular, or pasty substances or mixtures which are dangerous if they can be easily ignited by brief contact with an ignition source, such as a burning match, and if the flame spreads rapidly. Under test condition Acid Brown 432 do not ignite nor propagate combustion. Therefore no classification as flammable solid is warranted.
