First-aid measures
- Ingestion: Ingestion is not probable, but it could occur in presence of particulate material. Seek for medical advice. Do not induce vomiting.
- Skin: Remove contaminated clothes. Wash with running water and soap as for normal hygiene measures. Seek medical attention if any symptoms occur
- Eyes: Wash with plenty of water keeping eyelids open. Do not apply any neutralizing agent. In case of irritation, seek for medical advice.
Fire-fighting measures
Suitable extinguishing media: Use an extinguishing agent suitable for surrounding fires. Do not use water on fires when you suspect that molten metals are present

Special exposure hazards: Nonflammable/combustible material. Molten metals can produce fumes, vapors and dust that can be toxic and/or respiratory irritants
Special protective equipment for fire-fighters: Wear self-contained breathing apparatus (preferably operated in a positive pressure mode) and protective clothing/goggles to prevent contact with skin and eyes. Do not stay in dangerous zones without self-contained breathing apparatus
Accidental release measures
Environmental precautions: Delimit the area concerned and avoid water and underground water contamination.
Methods for cleaning up: Collect the material with available manual and/or mechanical equipment. Operate avoiding any further dispersion of the material. Collect the material and the contaminated soil and dispose according to local and national regulations.
Handling and storage
- Storage: Storage is recommended , away from incompatible substances, in a closed warehouse.
