Toolkit for using information and non-test methods under REACH
News Alert

A new "Information Toolkit" can now be found on ECHA's website. It helps registrants to use available information and predict the properties of substances using non-test methods to meet REACH information requirements. The "Information Toolkit" brings together documents, practical information and prediction methodologies.
Helsinki, 11 October 2010 - Registrants are, of course, responsible for the content of their dossiers and for making sure that adequate information is included to assess any potential risks from their substance. Therefore, they should ensure that the scientific arguments for using non-standard data or predicted properties data are fully described in their registration dossier. The toolkit will help them to do that.
