New version of REACH-IT in November – downtime before

ECHA/NI/17/33

A new version of the dossier submission and communication tool, REACH-IT, will be introduced on 7 November 2017. To manage the update, the tool will be closed from 1 November until 6 November inclusive.

Helsinki, 9 October 2017 – The update (version 3.3) does not affect the submission of registration dossiers and mainly builds up ECHA’s capacity to deal with the incoming dossiers for the 31 May 2018 deadline. It also includes some new features:

  • More transparency in joint submissions: All members of the joint submission will be able to have an overview of the data requirements (REACH Annexes VI-X) associated to each member’s last successful submission and an indication if the lead or members have opted out from the information submitted jointly in the lead dossier. This information will be on the Joint Submission page of REACH-IT.
  • New online submission for downstream user notifications of authorised uses (Art. 66 of REACH) and reports for unsupported uses (Art. 38(1) of REACH), replacing the web form.
  • New online submission for substance in articles notifications (Art. 7(2) of REACH), replacing the web form.

To prepare for the update, REACH-IT will be closed on 31 October 22:00 (EEST). It will reopen, updated, on 7 November 10:00 (EEST). ECHA apologises for any inconvenience caused by the downtime.

If you have any issues or need help, contact the ECHA Helpdesk through the contact form (select 'Technical support', then 'REACH-IT').
